I have the same issue when tryng to connect it to either my MacBook Pro or MacBook. I have also just reformat the card in the Hero 9, Mac is running macOS Big Sur version 11.2.3 (20D91). I have reset the USB bus, and also the Mac PRAM/NVRAM, same issue.

However, the MAC cannot recognise it as a usb drive. Hi have the camera set to MTP and it can be seen by the mac on the USB bus - see below.
